Ryan Ward's youth lacrosse camps are the best in the Twin Cities for first time players as well as experienced players to develop their knowledge, confidence and skills.
We have a high instructor-to-player ratio and are able to place kids in developmentally appropriate groups for many of our drills. This allows for maximum repetitions for each player and small group instruction for maximum comprehension.
We ensure all players leave our camp knowing the fundamentals of each skill set and have the foundation on which they can build upon.

This is an instructional camp where players are taught the "finer" parts of the game by some of the best players/coaches in Minnesota. In this camp players will focus on skill-sets, drills, and concepts specific to their position.
Players will spend the first two hours each day learning and drilling "position-specific" skill-sets. Then all players will be brought together to practice what they learned in dynamic team drills.
Attack: stick protection, dodges, inside shooting, two-man game (pick & roll), fakes, riding, spacing, fast breaks, off-ball movement & rotations.
Midfield: Shooting on run, mid dodges, mid defense, face offs & wing-play, slide & recover, off-ball movement & rotations.
Defense: footwork, stickwork, 1 v 1 defense, slides & recover, clearing, fast break defense, how to double team, pick & roll defense.
Goalie: footwork, stance, technique, clearing, slide communication, stickwork.
